A national promotion to eat with friends, family, and neighbours is coming to Canada’s Prettiest Town.
Loblaws is promoting their #EatTogether campaign, and Zehrs Goderich wants hungry residents to visit their Highway 8 location for a free barbecue Saturday.
Assistant Store Manager Jim Bissett says the goal is to turn off your phone and computer, and enjoy a community meal.
Hot dogs, hamburgers, and sausage will be served, and a President’s Choice ice cream and coffee truck will also be attending.
Bissett says staff are prepared to serve up to a thousand hungry mouths.
Rain or shine, the #EatTogether barbecue begins at 1:00 p.m. Saturday under the awning at the Goderich Zehrs.
