A special addition to this year’s Harvest Festival in Clinton will make the annual celebration more inclusive.
Nearly 35 hundred people attended the 2022 edition of the festival, nearly doubling the population of the Central Huron town.
Central Huron Community Improvement Co-ordinator Angela Smith says there are events for kids and adults.
“Mini golf, lots of bouncy castles, obstacle courses, but the pony rides I think is going to be a hit,” Smith tells Country 104.9 News.
Food trucks, inflatables, obstacle courses, and giant lego will also be apart of the 2023 Harvest Festival.
Smith says inclusion will be a large part of this year’s event, with a sensory-friendly zone.
“Just off the beatin’ path… people can go there and take a break as they need,” Smith tells us.
“They can enjoy some of the quiet activities that are in that space just for them.”
The Clinton Harvest Festivals runs Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. along Albert Street in Clinton.
