A seniors facility in Goderich has picked up some provincial funding.
The MacKay Centre for Seniors has been approved for $51,137 in funding that is supporting senior active living centres across the Ontario.
The funding for active living centres covers 80 per cent of operation costs, while the facilities would cover the other 20 per cent themselves.
The investment is part of the $15 million announced recently to support all current Seniors Active Living Centre’s (SALC) programs across the province that connect seniors with resources and activities.
