The County of Huron is celebrating the creation of affordable housing units in two towns, along with forthcoming units.
A 20-unit apartment complex was announced in Exeter along Sanders Street, in in a two-storey apartment building, with one bedroom per unit.
The total cost of the project is approximate $7.47 million.
A pair of triplexes containing six units each are also nearing completion in Goderich, at a cost of $2.1 million.
A 39-unit, $20.4 million apartment is also coming to Goderich in 2024, containing a mix of one and two-bedroom units.
County officials say funding continues to be sourced for this project.
