The Belmore Maple Syrup Festival is returning in full form.
The 53rd edition of the festival opens Thursday at the Belmore Community Centre, offering pancakes and maple syrup for thousands of prospective patrons.
Spokesperson Barry Mulvey tells Country 104.9 News the festival is returning to it’s original operation.
“We did take a pause in 2020, but in 2022 we did have a drive-thru,” Mulvey says.
The dine-in element of the festival will be back, with a new Pub Day, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
“We have an outdoor maple syrup demonstration, which is quite interesting for somebody who hasn’t seen maple syrup being made,” Mulvey tells us.
The Belmore Maple Syrup Festival runs Thursday and Saturday at the Belmore Community Centre.
