A Seaforth man is $77,777 richer, after a big scratch lottery win.
69 year old William “Bill” Ward won the five-figure prize playing INSTANT777.
“I bought some tickets at the gas station and sat down with my wife to enjoy a drink and play them,” Ward says.
“The first couple of tickets weren’t winners, but then I played this one. I thought there was something wrong with it.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Shell on Goderich Street in Seaforth.
Bill plans to complete a few things around the house then celebrate a little.
