Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Mayor Glen McNeil has been elected the new Warden of Huron County.
McNeil beat South Huron Mayor George Finch for the position during Huron County council’s inaugural meeting Wednesday.
McNeil will serve as Warden for 2021-2022, replacing Jim Ginn, who has filled the role since 2016.
During the Zoom meeting, former Warden Ginn received accolades from McNeil, as well as Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson, and MP Ben Lobb.
